I visit this place about once a year but after today, I am sticking with KFC, a favorite in my family which always turns out perfect.
So today I decide to hit this location and order a 2 piece, white meat chicken dinner, cost $5.99, but I had a side included. So the total shot up to $7.49. But I also want a "SMALL" side of potatoes. Well apparently CS has a different definition of "SMALL" than the rest of the world. So I am charged $4.99 which I almost cancelled, but I thought why not I am hungry. My total order was over $14.00. So when I get my "SMALL" dish of potatoes, it's a plate big enough to feed a family of four. So of course when I asked about this, apparently they have a single-serving dish. Well, CS should take the time to explain this when a customer is ordering so that they can understand what it is that they are ordering in the first place. Their definition of "SMALL" doesn't fit the logic. It should be obvious that a single customer does not need a plate of potatoes for four. They could also have plate size examples laid out so a customer can see the size differential before they order. So overall, I was not pleased, the food was subpar, and all afternoon my stomach was in knots so I had to take Pepmol-Bismol. I won't be returning and I'll stick to KFC where I can get what I want for under $10.00, the same...
Read moreThe only good thing about this place is that the employees are nice. I just got home with my order and it is totally inedible. Very disappointed! Very upset. *The chicken isn't crispy and was missing about half the breading on 1 of the 2 pieces on my 2 pc snack. Then when I went to take a bite I noticed how tough and fibery it is. Almost like it wasn't cooked all the way through. Not eating it. *Chicken tenders on the 5 pc dinner were so dry, we had to use scissors to cut them up!! *The potatoes aren't cooked and could be mistaken for being boiled they're so soft and soggy. *I asked for extra butter. None given. *Asked for extra BBQ sauce ON my husband's chicken tenders, none given. *The coleslaw has an odd fermented smell that isn't the smell of cabbage in a coleslaw. It too, is dry! Even after mixing it, trying to bring up some of the liquid that may have settled, we realized there is NO extra liquid!!! Its literally like sawdust. It's 7:30p and we would guess this coleslaw has been made earlier in the WEEK for it to smell this way.
This was a waste of $26. We have opted to throw our meals out to avoid getting sick, as ots clear none of this food is fresh. We won't be coming...
Read moreDon't eat here. Choose a restaurant that won't make😵 you nauseous. I asked a cashier what kind of oil do they use? She told me the truth. I am glad she did, so maybe now at the corporate level, Chicken Shack will sit up and take notice that there are people out there who experience this. Their food is disgusting, greasy and not healthy. It'ss the type of oil they use that contains half lard & half vegetable oil to fry food. That will make you nauseous!! Are they aware of it? Or they just don't care!? This is 2018, this restaurant is supposed to know the scientific facts that state a diet rich in saturated fat will lead to atherosclerosis, the clogging and hardening of the arteries which cuts off the oxygenated blood that sustains life called atherosclerosis eating this kind of food is seriously lacking in nutrition. so called. If anyone continuously eats a diet rich in saturated fat, the artery clogging fats, then don't expect to live much longer as you are mindlessly setting yourself up to miss out on any time spent with...
