Molly's Diner — Restaurant in Warren

Current Review: 2025 Pink Tomato Festival weekend.  My friend & I went to Molly's Diner for lunch.  The staff was friendly & attentive. She got a mushroom burger & I got a grilled chicken sandwich.   We waited over an hour to get our food because we didn't get the special, we got sandwiches. There were people that came well after us that ordered sandwiches & received them way before we did.  Good thing my friend & I were playing catchup & enjoying our visit. Neither (tiny) sandwich comes with fries, we did not order any, that's ridiculous.   She said her burger had an dirty grill taste to it. Who serves sandwiches with no fries?... no one.  These were pitiful little plates. This was pitiful, those small sandwiches with no fries were pitiful.  The last couple of times has been such a disappointment, they can use we were busy excuse for the food. ....and on Festival weekend with out of towers, not good at all.   I thought since it had been a year since I had eaten there, I'd hope things had improved.... I've been eating at other places in town. Next years festival.... Mexican restaurant or food trucks will be our choice.

👇2024 Review We waited almost an hour to receive our food. We asked about it a couple of times. We were told they had a party in the back, which did not explain why tables around us were being served, they'd eat & leave & more would fill those same tables, order, receive, eat, & leave & we were still sitting there.

We finally received our food, my son's chicken sandwich was chicken stripes & full of fattiness & he couldn't eat it, gross. My husband had the "farm raised fish", they need to feed the fish on that farm, they were not full fish filets, they were like they took one & cut into 3-4 tiny strips, pitiful & not that good. I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, I've had it before, it's good.

Overall, the service, wait, & food my husband & son had was not worth what we paid. I used to like coming here. If it would let me post a picture I would, I will if it offers that...

We were staying at Moro Bay State Park from Alabama and Texas (three families). We were looking for somewhere to go eat a farewell breakfast before departing home. This diner sounded interesting, but when we pulled up we were immediately glad we made that choice. Covered parking with antique cash registers lining the sidewalk along the front and vintage signs throughout. The building was original with a country home feel. The service was wonderful and the food was exactly what we were looking for! We arrived at 10:40 am and they were offering to serve lunch and breakfast as we liked. It was a 30 minute drive from the park and in the opposite direction that we were headed in, but well worth it! We hope to visit them...

We seemed to not be at the top of the line as to where we come in, it seemed to me that they will take care of there folks that are here in Warren and not care about the ones out-of town. They had us wait for 50 minutes for us to get our food. One reason was because we went to the back of the grill because it isn't the mass of food That they wasn't making. I will not come back to this place if they can't get better. This made me upset because I have always left good reviews but I wasn't able to leave a good review on this one. Sorry but I will not lie.
