U.S. Sub — Restaurant in Warren

Where do I begin with the (2)days old bread or the cheap grocery store meat they serve you? I went to this place because of all the good reviews I've been reading about it and an in-law of mines told me it was delicious, but I can say that I was NOT impressed with this establishments food. My wife ordered a plain turkey sandwich and the meat looked old and was very wet(not in a good way) an sloppy. People kept raving about their homemade mayonnaise but all I tasted was Sriracha and alot of pepper with a few spices slapped with some good ol' kraft mayo. I ordered the Italian thinking to myself "hey you can't mess up an original " an boy oh boy was I wrong. I asked for mayo,lettuce,tomato, salt,pepper,oil an vinegar and oregano. What I actually got was that homemade mayo stuff meat no cheese which I thought came with an "Italian Sub", very light lettuce one tomato which was soggy no oil nor vinegar and no oregano. I wound up just ordering Dominos pizza and settled for that. I'm glad someone else paid for my food from there and I didn't waste my hard earned money on that food. An parking was terrible for this place they have a handicap spot that also reads no parking violators will be towed so that left me scratching my head as well. Now let's get to the inside of this business it's very small and cramped no way for anyone to stay safely away from each other an the woman making the sandwiches who also took the order doesn't wear a mask while making your food.I can say it was an experience and I learned from this experience of going in this place that I will NEVER be back again!!! Lived here most of my life and would've never known of this place if not for yelp but man am I glad I use this app because this is a great find! This isn't your run of the mill chain sub shop, this place is the real deal classic deli sub shop. If you just want the least expensive sandwich place out there, but do go here if you want the freshest, tastiest, best bang for your buck subs around! Not only that you will be greeted by one of the sweetest elder gentleman I've ever met in my life who owns the shop who will treat you like family from the moment you walk in the door. If I absolutely had to complain about anything it would be as some others have mentioned that they unfortunately only accept cash which as someone who rarely carries cash it is slightly inconvenient. That said despite this I've just made my 5th trip here in about 2 weeks since first discovering this shop already because it's just that dang good!

The subs are amazing and delicious, and for great prices. You get plenty of food for your money. I recommend the Italian.

The only minor thing is that nearly every time I've been there, only one person is working the sandwich counter in the front, which means there is usually a bit of a wait to order. Once you order they make it quick, but it can be quite the delay when there is a long line, particularly around lunch.

Bottom line is this place is some of the best subs and best values you'll find, as well as friendly service. A true staple of...
