You folks know I like little bitty sidewalk diners... especially BBQ joints. This place looks right, smells right, TASTES right, and is a slice of real live Southern Americana. Sandwich was large and juicy. Yum! Had some coleslaw which was very tasty. It's made with the addition of sweet pickles... Now Im not a fan of sweet pickles generally, but I am a fan of this slaw because the pickles don't overpower the mix. Had the most delicious piece of pineapple cake I think has ever passed my teeth. Waiting on my receiver to open the next morning, they're only open 3 days a week, got the rib plate. Absolutely amazing food wish I had room for seconds and I regret not getting a slice of cake after seeing the older black women roll through with it wrapped in plastic wrap and foil I know it probably was delicious like my grandma use to make it.
