La Piramide Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Warrior

I was in that restaurant again tonight. I have been a regular although the service is HORRIBLE EXCEPT FOR ONE SERVER AND THE FOOD IS SUB-PAR! I sat down at the bar. After TWENTY minutes of NO SERVICE, I looked at the hostess, raised my hands and shrugged my shoulders like, ..”What??? “ Some young girl walks by and says “He’s busy!” I said, “Well I can go somewhere else!” She walks somewhere and comes back tells me to “Get out!” Loudly. And then she starts dialing 911. Understand I had no food, no drink. Nothing. I sat at the bar to watch football. I WILL be reporting this to the owner and the Better Business Bureau. It was ridiculous. NEVER AGAIN! But I will make it known. I left to avoid further embarrassment. My husband says I should have stayed and stood my ground. It wasn’t worth it. The food doesn't always knock it out of the park, but I think this family knows they are catering to a super white kinda country area and they don't pull out all the stops simply because they don't have to and it might not be appreciated anyway. The staff is courteous, the place is clean. I always initially rate a restaurant based on three things: staff friendliness, chip freshness and salsa. I will say that since they opened, La Piramide has continued to improve on all of these things. Their salsa is REALLY good. Very authentic and flavorful. The chips are USUALLY fresh and just the right thickness. The staff is very friendly, IF you are friendly to them. I used to not be much of a fan of this place, but it's right down the street from my house so I kept giving them chances and I'm glad I did. Last night me and some friends went to this restaurant, I ordered a chimichanga with just chicken and cheese. It comes out the first time with all the sauce, meat and veggies in it plus a hair in the cheese dip on the plate. I told the waitress and she looked at me like I was stupid and took the plate away slammed it on the bar and went back to the kitchen. It comes out the second time with no hair, but the chimichanga is still not what I ordered it had all the ingredients in it. So I sent it back again after talking to the manager. It finally came out right but all my friends were done eating. Within 5 minutes of leaving we were all on the toilet very sick and I was violently throwing up for about 30 minutes.
