This is actually a follow up review. My previous one stated how, as a consistent returning customer, I was unsettled with the manor of how she speaks and treats her employees in front of customers. After reading my first review, the owner brought it upon herself to come to my place of work and confront me about it. I will no longer be doing business here. Especially when she decided to respond with a comment that gave away my personal information of where I work for hundreds of people to see. So this new post was also to remove that sensitive information. $19.00 for 2 large iced vanilla coffees (nothing special) is insane! Not to mention the girl made one of them wrong and was going to remake it. The owner whispered and told her to just put more ice in the cup. Both of our drinks were 3/4+ filled ice after the liquid was drunk. This is not the first time we have experienced dishonest service from the current owner. Also to note, when the business has a day to honor teachers, fire or police personnel for example, they offer 50 cents off. That's an insult at the prices they charge and to the those they are honoring. This business is clearly not intrested in keeping for the customer. This quaint, breezy coffee shop is a welcome surprise in a small town. I chit chatted with the new owner today and found her so friendly and down to earth—it was like we were good friends bumping into each other. I enjoyed a sugar free raspberry tea and lemon blueberry cupcake. For a sugar free drink, it tasted “fully leaded” and was exactly the pick me up I was looking for. The cupcake looked like something out of a magazine with a perfect little cloud of whipped cream, a tiny lemon wedge, and two little blueberries. The cake itself was moist, light, and airy. Even now as I type this review several hours later I wish for one more bite. I’m already excited to pick up my flavored tea and a delicious confection tomorrow....
