Chabbi's Sweets & Eats — Restaurant in Wartrace

Chabbis is a cute restaurant and bakery located in the middle of Wartrace. My family and I went there today to enjoy a lunch with our mother. They were more than welcoming and kind when we entered.

As you walk through their establishment you are greeted with both smells of the sweets in the back room, and the savory smells of the lunch special of the day! You will always feel comfortable, safe, and welcome dining here.

The lunch dishes were an absolute favorite. I enjoyed a cheeseburger which soon became my new favorite! We also tried a few of their phenomenal cookies. The oatmeal cinnamon cookie is my personal favorite.

Nevertheless, the service from chabbis was top notch. They were polite and courteous. It felt like a home. Also, the prices were unbeatable! Overall, it's a fantastic place for a memorable lunch. I would not hesitate recommending...

I was told a price for fried pies. It rung up different. Make a long story short. A sweet lady fixed it for me..Well the owner came sat down. Not a hello said I heard you was upset about the price of the pies. I said I was not upset. I just wanted to know how come I didn't get the change back. That I should have. She said they were her granddaughters And all complaints should come by her. Which I didn't know that. I went to the counter that I paid at. She said they didn't know all the prices. The back didn't know what the front was doing. I told her I didn't say anything ugly to anyone. Everyone that works there should know the prices. I know they were children and beautiful ones I feel she shouldn't have said...

I’m not sure where the owner is from. My family is all from down south. I tried the pulled pork there was no flavor to it. The coleslaw had a strange aftertaste and the white beans had no flavor. They were also going to charge me a dollar for a bun. They may want to stay away from the barbecue side of things, it was not good. The decour was kind of cool, but the music was a little loud. I travel all over the country, so I guess I’m a bit of a food snob, so keep that in mind. The refills for the tea was free as long as you drank it there. I’m not sure what that was all about. Was 18.00 with the suggested tip. Not good...
