Lower Bank Tavern — Restaurant in Washington Township

Stopped by here today on a stormy day with several friends of ours. After getting stuck in hour of riding through a storm, this spot was a great relief. Service was great and very friendly just like the owner that we had a chance to meet and exchange stories. At one point the entire place was all involved in conversation. What you would expect out of a real life Cheers. Didn't get a chance to eat the famous burger as we just came from a food truck event but we will be back many more times. I manage a bar, so I really appreciate great friendly service and inexpensive delicious fresh food. Their wings are yummy, and I always get the fried olives. The folks you share the bar with are local Pineys, so I feel right at home. I dont have a favorite bartender, because each one is just perfect.
