Richmond Hotel Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Washington Township

I needed to write a review...and to be honest, if this review was of just my meal it would easily be 5 stars! The fact is, the place needs some renovation. I'm not saying it needs to be updated, as classic might be it's style...but it needs to be cleaned and all the minor repairs need to be addressed before this place can earn it's 5th star. Service was top notch. The waitress was courteous, attentive, prompt, and beautiful. I do, however, wish she had informed me that the food takes roughly 40 minutes to be prepared(I was alone and literally the only one who had ordered food in the entire place), but that is to be expected when things are made fresh and perfectly. My meal. It was quite possibly the best example of chicken parm that I have EVER had...and I'm quite the traveler. The food was simply delicious. My chicken was tender, the sauce was robust -without being too sweet, plenty of cheese(and I am one to over-cheese...as if there could even be such a thing), my mashed potatoes were real(ha ha), and my brussel sprouts were steamed and buttered PERFECTLY. This meal was fantastic. I certainly left full. ...and the price?? Well, they clearly aren't cooking for profit. My entire amazing meal was under $12.

I would absolutely eat here again!

Order that chicken parmesan...you...

My best friend & I ate here for dinner!! She ordered fish, I ordered eggplant parmesan, we were served very large portions!! For the most part our food was really good!! I got a baked potato with my meal, it wasn't cooked all the way thru, the inside was hard!! I decided to get takeout for my boys. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich & 2 double cheeseburgers, all with fries!! It took a really long time!! When she finally brought the food packed up in a bag, I just paid & left!! When I got the food home....The bag was missing one of the double cheeseburgers & the other double cheeseburger looked horrible, it was a huge roll with 2 little "hockey pucks" with yellow cheese on top & something white in-between the 2 burgers!! It was so awful looking, I took a picture of it!! Now, the rest of the food, the chic.parm.sand. & 3 orders of 2 different kind of fries were actually very good!! But, in the end, I paid for 2 double cheeseburgers that I didn't receive!! This place is a bar with a few tables very close together around the bar!! If you order the right thing, & get what you ordered & don't mind a long wait or a really noisy place, this is the...

If it weren’t for the locals I don’t think this place would survive! If this were my 1st experience this post would be different, but I’ve had the same experience the last 3 times!! We waited ten minutes just to place a drink order, we knew what we wanted but the waitress told us she couldn’t take our order because she didn’t have her pad 😳! SO, now people are starting to pile in, you would think she would give us our to-go containers and the check like we asked for; NOPE, she had a conversation with the person who came to sit at the bar; I JUST CAN’T any longer! I don’t just give a business my money because the food is good; but because I’m respected as a guest in their restaurant and they respect my time and money!!
