Burton Coffee Stand — Restaurant in Washington

Best. Coffee. Ever. I've been visiting Vashon my whole life but just checked out this shop for the first time last weekend, and I have seriously been missing out! This place rocks and their coffee is legit the best I've had, possibly from any shop ever. My gf and I both got caramel macchiatos, and the one we saved still tastes brand new even though its days old and the ice has melted! It doesn't taste diluted AT ALL. Needless to say, we're both shook to our core.. Mostly because we live across the water, and can't come here every day. Whatever magic they're working at this stand, it works.They don't have a written menu it seems, but they can probably make what you want and do it better than your favorite coffee shop. I’m on Vashon getting away and visiting friends for the weekend. I wandered down to the Burton Coffee Stand this morning and had a wonderful experience. Around 8a, there was an ebbing-and-flowing gathering of locals catching up with one another and enjoying each other’s company. They were friendly and inclusive, including toward me, an off-to-the-side stranger. The coffee was very good, the pastries looked amazing (it could have gone either way, but restraint won out for me in the end), the service was good and friendly, and the price was a pleasant surprise.
