Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Washington

I was at Dairy Queen today a noticed a lot of issues with this establishment. The drive line was about 8 cars deep so we went inside to place our order (we thought it would be faster). The line inside was about 3 people deep and about 3 deep for people waiting to get their food. We placed our order, couple of mike shakes. We waited and waited and waited. My shake came out within 10 minutes my wife shake took over a half an order to get. It seems that the kid behind the counter did not know what to do, half the time he would read the menu orders over and over then walk away stood at the ice cream station then walk back to the menu orders and read over and over again. The food warmer were backing out, no one was working it. People that were waiting were getting upset because of the delay. So, I noticed that the kid was constantly pulling his hair and handling foods without washing his hands, this if very unpleasing and unsanitary, I think that the Washington State Health Department needs to be review. The last thing about the kid behind that counter my wife believes that he might have been on drugs in the way we was acting. I feel this place needs to be shut down and for the owner to come in a rebuild this establishment. The ice cream is awesome! As always. I couldn't order anything deep fried because of deep fried popcorn shrimp. The chicken tenders looked good but couldn't get them. The #4 burger was gross. Now this is probably personal taste. The veggies we're poorly cut and haphazardly placed. The meat proportion was off and it didn't taste fresh and the bun was greasy and tasted a lot like cheap white bread, sticking to the roof of my mouth in that gummy way. Also the cheese wasn't melted on. But again that's taste. My lower rating is because of the service. It was a bunch of teenage boys. Not judging by age but they were throwing cups and stuff around, goofing off, seemed annoyed that I was trying to figure out what to order, literally just stared at me while I read the menu. They just seemed disorganized and uncaring. Which I don't blame them but it's a job and you need to fake it in front of customers. The place itself is a little run down but that didn't bother me.

Very poor customer service on the drive through. Their chip reader wasn't working properly. So I had money on apple pay but not enough for my full order so I took the shake off. Apple pay wasn't working so I tried my card and it worked finally. But then I tried to buy the shake afterwards and the lady working drive through slammed the door in my face. Went inside and asked why she did that and she wouldn't look me at me and started saying bad things about me to the car that was behind me in line. I thought at that point I should just get the shake for free, she told me she threw it away. I asked if they could make a new one and the lady just went back to the drive through door and took the old shake out of who knows where and gave it to me. I asked if she just took it out the trash and she said no it was in the freezer and I just looked at her like so you lied about throwing it away? To try and sum this up the staff did nothing to make this right and I feel very unsatisfied and won't be going to this...
