La Cabana Mexican Restaurante — Restaurant in Washington

Food has always been great until last couple of weeks last 2 steaks I've ordered have been terrible. Found out they have a new cook well he can't cook and will ruin your business. I've always loved your restaurant up until now. I tried to talk to the manager but he was a complete ass and lectured me on how hard it was to run a business and hire and keep good employees. He didn't apologize and said if I no longer liked the food eat somewhere else. I didn't ask for a refund or free food I was just trying to inform him that he had a problem. I took his advice and went somewhere else. Update: i never came at you or called your food dog crap ( you either not being truthful or confused with another conversation) I said the food was horrible and it was i ordered my stake rare and it had black burnt spots on it when the waitress says she hates to bring it to the table it bad !!!! Don't try and trough it back on me i was a loyal customer and always gave your waiters 5 dollar tips for each...

My wife and i just stopped by here for Father's Day brunch. First time visit though we have been by on several occasions and wanted to see how it is.

This is a great restaurant! We got seated immediately, a booth like we wanted, not noisy and very comfortable. The waitress was attentive without being pushy, and the food was is very good, and plentiful portions. I had Huevos Rancheros, which were excellent, and my wife had the Beef Empanadas, which she liked very much. Free chips and salsa and refills on them, too.

We left with a good size doggie bag for later today. Total bill, with only water to drink, for two came to only $23.22, very reasonable, and we will DEFINITELY be back.

BTW, we are from the Augusta area and drive to Athens a lot to see our son at school, and Washington, GA is a good halfway location for food, restroom and gas break. And the bathroom was very clean, too. Good restaurant choice, I highly recommend! Muchas...

We usually get seated right away, but on this one night we waited about 20 minutes. There were 4 of us and they had a few tables that were cleaned off and ready for the next guest. So we stood in line and finally they waved us to the table and again we waited to place our drink order. Servers kept walking right by us not even looking at us. Finally a server asked what we wanted to drink and then my husband said we are ready to place our food order. He said I'll be right back, 10. minutes later he comes back with our drinks and brings out chips and salsa. We finally get to place our food order and it came out fine.
