Manhattan Station Espresso — Restaurant in Washington

I live out of state, but I've been here tons. My family lives down the road and goes there almost daily for several years. I've always been happy with service and the barista has always been lovely, she remembers orders and is so friendly. However, today I rang up to ask about gift cards and I got hung up on multiple times and told I had the wrong number, even after I asked if they had them. I figured it was a poor connection and kept trying. Then a man answered and yelled "What do you want???". I once again asked about gift cards and finally I was put on to the barista. I have an Australian accent, so the foreign sound threw them off and they assumed I was a scammer. Edited to add 9/24: The Gleed coffee shop has really won my heart over, the baristas are always so sweet. This year has been one of the hardest years as I faced my mom’s cancer diagnosis and eventually her death.
