I would like a manager to contact me. I have had two poor experiences in a row. I will share what happened today. I feel like this Subway has gone down in the last few years. Whenever I come, it seems like the workers that have been hired are not well trained. They had a cash register down and were only accepting cash tonight which no employee mentioned to me. I had to get that information from another customer. When a customer suggested to the employee with a tattoo on his forearm and hickies on his neck that he should let people know immediately when they walk in so they aren't making sandwiches for people who only have cards, he completely ignored him, when it was obvious that the comment was heard. This employee in particular had a terrible attitude and was moving extremely slow compared to the employee that helped me. The employee that helped me just seemed stressed and not confidently trained, which would be understandable when he had a line of people and a partner moving like a turtle. Then came the end when the same customer who commented returned because the slower employee had mixed up our sandwiches. Dear TAMMY JACKSON (owner of Rochester Subway) please train your employees and require more professionalism. This is not the first time I have entered your location with employees who did not know what they were doing. I am all about giving younger people an opportunity. But you have money walking out of your store every time I am there due to your lack of...
Read moreI visited this store yesterday for lunch and there was only 1 employee in the entire store doing everything. She said she was new, did not really know how to use the register yet, and the other employee had left over an hour early right before an expected rush. Wow. She made my order correctly, followed COVID rules, and was extremely pleasant; that store does not deserve her. I asked to cash out the small balance on my gift card and she said she didn't know how to do that and offered to call her manager. The manager told her they don't do that. I spoke to the manager on the phone and advised her of the law requiring businesses to cash out all gift cards under $5 upon request, and she told me that laws don't apply to this store. Uhhhh, OK. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office, so it remains to be seen if that's true or not. It has me wondering what other laws they're breaking, and how many customers they have stolen from in the process. The manager was very rude and she apparently also gave the employee a hard time on the phone, at least that's how it appeared watching only one side of the conversation. It's too bad, that employee was they only thing they had going for them at that moment. Subway has been disappointing me for years now, especially the Washington...
Read moreWorst Subway in the area by far. So unreliable, this place should just be shut down. I have tried and tried to come back to this place, but the place is just not worth it and tonight was the final straw. I ordered online in the hopes of getting to enjoy a fresh sandwich because despite this place I do like Subway in general, but of course itâs 5 oâclock and the open sign is off. There is an employee inside however so I try the door and it is locked. I waved my phone to try and get his attention and he flat out ignored me. So, I tried to call, thinking maybe he can take my name and I can come back another time and he goes into the back, but nothing. The phone just rang and rang for a minute or two. I was just fed up and now I am furious. I drove all the way here, already paid for my order, and was ignored and disrespected by a freaking employee who is in the business of CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I would not and will not ever recommend that someone come back here. Rochester would be better off without this place. The owner really should be ashamed, this place is beyond help and the turnover rate of the employees is disgraceful. Something has to be done. I know I am not alone in the atrocious and appalled way I am feeling and more people need to speak up. Nothing will change if we donât...
