Gotta admit, this was a last-minute decision and, as I pulled up, I was seriously doubting my choice to stop here. Grungy-looking Flying J. Basically, a rebranded mini-mart that you get to by exiting the highway and going through no less than three roundabouts.
Interesting customers (inside and outside). Interesting workers (in the mini-mart). This Subway is about the size of a closet. Not sure I have seen one this small. There were a couple of people ahead of me. A female was working solo initially. Another employee came back from break and started to help as well (clearly, a trainee).
The female finally got to me. AMAZING! Great disposition. Conversational and efficient. I ordered a salad. She made it as I requested. I paid. And I left. I wish I got her name because she deserves a raise given how great she was in providing excellent customer-service in this less-than-appealing location.
Those negative reviews? Geesh, some of you are just interested in whining! Did you notice where this location is located?!?! You complain it isn’t open 24hrs., but then some of you actually post the message explaining why. So, what do you expect them to do? I mean, be fair.
Not sure I would ever go here again (like I said, a last-minute decision). But I would consider coming here again if that female employee was working. Can’t be an ideal spot to work. But she made the experience much better than I was expecting. Thanks for helping me out when I needed some...
Read moreGreat experience and customer support will definitely never be going back to any subway again. Avoid this subway at all cost. The owner or Area Trainer lacks any sympathy or emotion and is awful at running a business. My girlfriend and I went to this subway on February 7th we ordered two subs. My girlfriend is vegetarian and I am not. They mislabeled our subs and well yeah. We tried to call the store there phone lines don’t work. Tried to call the gas station it’s connected to still no answer. So I go to customer support three days later get told we could get our subs remade. Now after 3 days of no answer why would I want my subs remade? I don’t want to go out of my way to get remade subs 3 days later. Maybe the day of but we didn’t even want that. Not to mention we tried called the store. For someone like my girlfriend who has been vegetarian for years eating meat can make her extremely sick not to mention it’s also traumatizing. I asked for a simple refund of 15 dollars. It’s been 5 days since then and still no response. Once again avoid this subway at all cost. For almost making a customer sick due to your own errors and not taking any accountability is pathetic to say the least. Avoid this subway at all cost. Go to Jimmy Johns or...
Read moreThey are so stingy with their Mets for me it's just too much bread and not enough meat to veggie ratio I don't eat àlot of bread so and when you ask for more they charge you and then it's just ruins the whole thing if I were them I would focus more on satisfying my customers so that you know they will be more likely to come back because people remember things like the accomodations more then they remember what sandwich they even had when they were there . More money is gotten from return visits than sales that are daily and random customers and word of m Outh is free advertising so be generous and friendly and see how much more you get from those kinds of practices. The service you give is your meal ticket . You want to be remembered and spoken well about . And I don't have anything good to say about this subway except they stay open real late and 5ga5 is nice for the ones who work night shifts real nice we are just as hungry as the people who work days why we don't have the means to get for us what they can in 5he day is just sad and heartless so I give a thumbs up for that fact here so . Just my opinion but many share how I feel...
