It's amazing how much a customer experience can affect a review. We found that both the bartenders working that night, especially the younger one were quite rude. I was a designated driver that evening, but neither of the people I had in tow had drank enough or exhibited any of the signs that warrants the type of treatment that they received. My first friend who ordered was told to get in line when they approached the bar. There was no line and there were plenty of open spots at the bar for somebody to walk up and order a drink. I know because I ordered a cola and was served right away... There was no line. I ordered another drink for my other friend and opted to get them a short instead of at tall. I guess this must have sent some bogus signal to the bartender though because after that she treated this person as if they were drunk even though I've known them for years and know they weren't even close to drunk. Literally refusinf to serve them. Meanwhile you've got a table of people screaming at the top of their lungs The lyrics to whatever song has come on, Africa by Toto, sweater by Weezer, and take on me by aha.... These folks were quite the mess and yet they were treated quite well. So ultimately despite the fact that I found the Pub's selection to be quite good and their establishment to be well decorated and arranged, the customer service was really just abysmal and it seemed as if it was towards women specifically by the women bartenders...
I might return because personally I wasn't treated poorly, but I know that neither of my friends will. One of them lives down the street and this was her very first time ever patroning the place, so quite a loss imho for the business in terms of of gaining a possible repeat customer for years to come. The girls I was with are good people who know their limits, but they will totally tell everyone they know not to go here. It's just the...
ย ย ย Read moreHorrid service, well, more like a lack thereof. Sat at the bar, after maybe 10 mins a gal came by and took our drink orders, brought us drinks and food menus. We then proceeded to get snubbed by both bar tenders, bar back and server. All of which made eye contact with us and the crushed cans at the edge of the bar.
We sat for a good 20 mins with empty drinks with zero acknowledgement from the staff, while the bar tender made rounds and refills for everyone else sitting at the bar.
Fed up and regretting opening a tab, finally got up and got in line like I was to order food to close out. Asked the bouncer if it was normal to have to get up off my spot AT THE BAR, to go wait in line to order a drink, and hope my spot didnt get taken. He said "yes pretty much that's what you gotta do when it's busy"
They clearly didnt want the business that badly if you're going blatantly ignore customers. If I hadnt of opened up a tab and had my card on file I would of just left. I wanted to order some of the locally famous wings and have some drinks but they decided we weren't worth...
ย ย ย Read moreI have had nothing but great experiences at this establishment.
This is a local drinking hub and hang out for a lot of locals. Friendly to travelers. Wing Wednesday, and other themed nights.
They have a juke box, shuffle board, and pool tables. Typically always have two bartenders but there is usually a few minute wait on drinks due to demand. All of the bartenders are friendly, happy, outgoing. I believe they have a full kitchen. They have typical bar food, all of which seems to be well liked although I've only had the wings and fries.
The environment is more on the dive bar side of things, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's wood and homey. Loud. Friendly. Semi dark. Rustic. Bathrooms are 4 out of 5 on cleanliness.
They have an outdoor enclosed patio with about a dozen tables. Makes for a very laid back and fun environment.
They have around 40 parking spaces. However, there is a convenience store across the street, and it's otherwise in a residential area, so there is street...
