This place is everything that it should be and more, aside from my singular complaint being simply that they could use a little more space, because two people working and two people inside is about all that works without snuggling much too closely with strangers. The employees are friendly and always greet each customer and then come back around and take orders accordingly, and they're always willing and able to offer a recommendation or help with confirmation on sizes or detail is in question. They move efficiently to keep waiting to a minimum, but the food never suffers for speed, even when they're busy. The cheese curds are scrumptious, and the plethora of sauce options really take care of everyone, which is cool, and the sizes seem perfectly proportioned for a single diner versus a few sharing the side. I have yet to eat anything from here that wasn't well beyond my expectations in both flavor/quality and size, and while it's not the least expensive place in town, the ratio of cost to quantity seems to favor the customer every time, while still keeping with quality ingredients. The staff also seems happy to be there every time I've gone in, which is a shortly underrated but extremely important detail in food service, at least in my opinion. I would recommend Wauna Burger over and...

Tried for the first time. Great portion size. Good sweet potato and regular fries cooked right. Big, good tasting burgers but, patty is definitely a hockey puck type pre-made. Sauces were great and not pre-made, oil based garbage. They were friendly and hustling. No room in that building at all. It's honestly a shame bc they'd probably be packed. It was too cold to eat at the outdoor picnic type eating area. They said they'd bring it out to the car but didn't, so we had to go back inside to get our food. If they moved, offered the first sauce with your meal and hand made the patties, I'd gladly add a star. Better than fast food. Better than most for sauces. Great side portions. Good work guys

What could be done to earn 5 stars? Have a grass fed burger option. Elevate the bun choices. Local fresh meats, cheeses and produce. I'll gladly pay more for more. Get organic, non-gmo ingredients. You guys rock! Visited again and it was fast...

I’ve been here before, and each visit has delivered a consistently tasty experience. But this time, I ventured into uncharted territory: the monster bacon cheeseburger. And let me tell you, this isn’t just a burger, it’s an experience.

At first glance, it’s deceptively simple, just meat, cheese, bacon, sauce, and a bun. But somehow, they elevate these classic ingredients into pure magic. Every bite hits all the right notes, savory, smoky, cheesy, leaving your taste buds doing a happy dance.

It was so good, I found myself back just two days later for another round. I’ve sampled burgers from coast to coast, and this one may just top my list. The flavors are so intense, I wish I could devour two or three at once. But make no mistake, this beast of a burger will leave you both satisfied and stuffed!

If you’re craving burger bliss, highly recommend this spot and their unforgettable monster bacon cheeseburger. You...

Very good hamburgers, friendly staff. Tried the basket of classic cheeseburger with an extra patty and tater tots. It’s a good burger with nice ingredients, well made. Tots were nice and crispy. Asked for tap water, they state that they are not allowed to serve open containers (maybe so in rule crazy Pierce County, I miss New Zealand where free tap water is available everywhere), so bought a bottle of water for a fair $1.49. No indoor seating, ate at covered tables outside. Everything is fine here but you do pay $25 for a double cheeseburger, tots, and a bottle of water with lowish tip and tax. This pricing may be fine, but for me it does not quite fit my personal profile to pay this much for a burger and a water. Still, have to respect this place for quality and providing a place to eat. Would return when I want to splurge.

They catered my husband's 50th birthday party and everyone raved about the food. The wagyu beef sliders were delicious. I think the burger buns were croissant rolls because they were buttery and soft. Another hit was the red potato salad. Chris was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The prices were very reasonable as well. I can't recommend them enough. * I edited my review to add that Wauna Burger makes a lot of dishes for catering that are not on the menu. Chris worked with me to find the best options for my party. I really appreciated how flexible they were.

🍔🍔🍔 been meaning to hit up more burger joints around home. Service was great. Atmosphere is good. Lots of selection. Got the double beast cheeseburger (I'll update the name when I figure it out) and sweet potato fries. The cheese burger was actually pretty good. I could use just a lil extra..not quite sure what but it was just lacking. Sweet potato fries were decent. I should have asked for another sauce. Should come with 2 standard..my opinion. All in all. .I'll be coming back to try the other burgers for sure.
