I’ve visited many Chinese restaurants in DC over the years, but one spot stands out above the rest. For a project I’ve been working on, I’ve had the opportunity to visit a small, family-owned establishment run by a dedicated couple. Their commitment to cleanliness and high standards in their kitchen is truly remarkable, setting them apart in an industry where standards can sometimes vary.
Speaking with patrons, I’ve learned that many have been loyal customers for over 18 years—a testament to the consistency and quality of this restaurant. Everyone raves about how fresh and clean the food is, and how the owner, especially, goes above and beyond to help her regulars, all while keeping prices affordable.

Bathrooms are gross, at least the day I was there. I think the neighborhood residents use this restaurant's bathrooms as their own and it ain't a good thing. It's a pretty tired-looking, dirty neighborhood.
And with that in mind, as you might expect, some of the other patrons of the place are nasty and lowdown. It's a very mixed bag.
