Rumors Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Watab Township

We were there on Saturday, September 6. We ordered our drinks and food and 45 minutes later the server came out to tell us they had a grease fire in the kitchen and could only make pizza. Well, since we had all ordered pizza we didn't think it'd be a problem. She said it would take about 30 minutes. We were a little puzzled as to why our Pizza hadn't been done earlier, but whatever 55 minutes later, we finally got our pizzas. Then our server disappeared, so it was almost impossible to pay the check. I'm not sure if this is a one off experience or not, but I will be hard-pressed to spend my money there again. Never stopped here, but always thought about it, glad we did. Great food & price. I had the burger with sour cream & chive fries mmm! Hubby had the fish dinner which came with crinkle cut fries, glad I went with the sour cream & chive fries, I hate crinkle cut, hubby loves em so it all went well. I love how they put the pickles under the paper on top of the paper basket so it doesn't get your bun all soggy, nice touch. Great burger, nice warm bun, no sesame seeds, yay! Service was weak, we ordered an appetizer and took 20minutes to get, when we did get it the cook brought it to us cold, like it sat in the window for 10minutes. Food was super sub par- we ordered the broasted chicken and when we got it, the meat seamed to come from a junior size chicken, the wing and legs were like appetizer size and the breast and thighs were so small. Overall I would not spend another dollar in this establishment, sad cause use to come here a lot as kids when we lived down the road. If I could give a negative star...
