We cannot say enough good things about the Zen Barn! We got married here in July 2023 and had an amazing, fun, and smooth wedding weekend. We rented out the Air BnB on the top two floors of the barn for the weekend and it worked out perfectly for our bridal party to stay in and for getting ready before the ceremony. Communicating with their events manager Katie and the owner Ari leading up to the wedding was easy and they were super accommodating. We had questionable weather for the ceremony/cocktail hour portion of our wedding and all of the staff at Zen Barn were so flexible and supportive with us deciding whether we needed to do our ceremony inside or out. We ended up using their beautiful indoor ceremony space due to rain and it was amazing! Our guests loved the BBQ buffet (great gluten free and veg options too!!) and enjoyed the cocktails and amazing local beer options. Everyone had so much fun with the Zen Barn staff - they are the perfect balance of fun/laidback and professional - making you feel at ease throughout the day. Our go-to guy for our wedding day, Travis, went above and beyond to help our day run smoothly and was so fun to work with. Had a wonderful experience at Zenbarn this evening! From the moment you walk into the space you know you are in for more than your average restaurant experience. The decor is unique, the people friendly, the drinks creative, the beer list off the hook and the menu far more diverse and creative than you might expect. I began with two items off the snack & share list: Mediterranean Beef Skewers and Roasted Brussels. Both dishes were perfect and warmed up my appetite. It was difficult to settle on the main meal as the menu offered a range of awesome choices. In the end, my mood that evening led me to order the Zen Veggie Burger...and this beef eater was blown away. The large black bean burger came smothered in Cabot cheddar, chipotle crema, avocado, crispy fried onions, bib lettuce, all on a toasted bun. It was ridiculous; this from a diehard burger fan. It's obvious these guys know the beer scene, offering what you want from a Vermont bar as well as a bunch of intriguing beers yet to make the scene. I didn't have any of the cocktails that evening but they looked amazing. All of this while never getting bored of the cool decor of the barn space and lively chatter of people enjoying themselves in the restaurant and bar.
