Guido's Premium Pizza Waterford — Restaurant in Waterford Township

Been purchasing here for years. The pizza is great, and service is normally great 9 out of 10 times, but please, please, please remove the awkward tipping setup on your new credit card machines. Offering 10%, 20%, 30%, and "Other amount" means you have to click 5 buttons to not tip and I'm sure many people are very confused on the screen. "Tip Other Amount button, 00.0, accept". I'm all for tips for good service, but this is a pizza place where I'm paying menu price and my interaction is 30 seconds.

Instead of making awkward tip requests to your customers by pretty much forcing them to tip unless they can figure out how to get around tipping, I would suggest raising your menu prices slightly and paying your employees a better wage. I have no problem with having the offer of tipping, but when you hide the option to not tip behind a bunch of buttons, it is kind of shady and makes me 100% never give a tip. I used to throw some cash in your giant tip jug when service was exceptional, but it should be the customers choice. Replace your "Tip other amount" button with "no tip" and I'll start tipping when service is...

I ordered a heart shaped pizza with Mayo for the sauce. It was pretty self explanatory. I ordered it here once and it was done perfectly. Very fluffy and they put the Mayo on top which I was completely fine with. My friend goes to pick it up for me and he pays and gets to the car, notices there’s no Mayo. He goes back in and says “the sauce is supposed to be Mayo” and the dude says “yeah I saw that it said Mayo when you ordered online I didn’t know what to do for that so I just didn’t add it” so my friend goes “okay well can you add the Mayo then…” and he says “I dont know what to do for that I can give you mayo packets”. Very disappointing. I can’t even eat pizza sauce which the pizza had, that’s why I wanted Mayo as my sauce I ordered it specifically so the Mayo would be the sauce and he gives me pizza sauce and no Mayo and then gives Mayo packets as of that makes it okay. I keep giving these guys another try, mostly because they're just down the road from me. I got a coupon in my email for the Feeding Frenzy with an offer of the Big G with two items, breadsticks, salad, and a 2L of Pop. I added extra sauce and extra cheese to the pizza. When we got home and opened the box, I noticed it was a regular large round pizza with only extra cheese and my two toppings. Although everything tasted good, I not only did I not get the correct pizza and size, but I didn't get the extra sauce. I will say this though, the staff they had that night was very nice. Since we were headed up north I didn't have time to call them up to try to fix this order.

One would think that Guido's would be trying a little harder with Green Lantern opening less than a mile away and Sir Pizza opening their new location closer to Dixie?
