First let me say, I had delivery so the atmosphere grade I'll stay in the middle with.

After hearing about this place and reading all the reviews, I thought I had found my new pizza place. I checked the menu and it is solid 80s. Everything about it screams my childhood, bringing my back to times of old. I was in awe. I loved 80s themed merchandise and even forced myself.not to buy a few shirts.

We placed our order for delivery and was anticipating the pizza....the pretzel...the bread stix, all which were raved about in the many 5 star reviews.

The time comes, the pizza arrived. Me and my family and joined in a huge cheer because we were about to feast.

The smell was very enticing...and that's where this all goes south. First the order wasn't correct. They forgot our bread Stix! The funnel cake fried tasted old and greasy like they weren't drained properly. The pizza itself tasted as it had been made hours before and just reheated. It had a mouth feel that was just terrible. Both my wife and I couldn't eat a whole slice it was just gross.

The pretzel was pretty solid. It came with 3 different sauces: mustard, a (cold?) Nacho cheese and a really...REALLY garlicy butter.

I called to let them know the misshap of forgetting the bread Stix and even though the employee Nicholas made the amazing gesture of giving me $10 off out next order, I don't think we will order...

The pizza was just ok. Had company over, so I picked up two large pizzas. Out of the five of us, we all agreed there was way too much garlic and lacking in salt. I'm not sure how to describe it other than saying it was bland and garlicky. As far as pricing goes, unless you're getting one of their specials, be prepared to pay above normal prices compared to other similar pizza places. I picked my pizza up instead of delivery. There's a party store next door, and Slice of The 80's is at the end. There is only one way in and one way out. The parking lot is VERY tight! It appeared all the employees were parking up front too, because there were no other customers there and the front of their store only had three parking spots open which made the parking lot even tighter. I have a quad cab pickup, and I had to back up and forth 10 times just to get out of my spot to leave.

Update: my first review is from about 8 months ago. Never went back. I've heard a lot of good things since my last review and they have a pretty good special going on, so we tried them again. The pizza was fantastic this round! Maybe before I caught them on an off day?? Really good prices and really good pizza. We will most...

I am adjusting my review after trying the food again. I think my first review was off a bit because they had just opened and perhaps did not have things down to a science yet. So, after ordering again, pizza and cheese sticks, I loved both. The cheese sticks are lightly battered with house made ranch and the pizza was delicious. I got sausage and bacon, but it felt like I got double cheese too. The toppings and cheese were plentiful and went ALL the way up the the seasoned crust. I will order there again. END OF UPDATED REVIEW. I have only gotten food here once, so this review only covers a few things. Although their pizza had plenty of the toppings we ordered, I didn't like their sauce at all. It just tastes like crushed up tomatoes with very little pizza seasonings to me. The pretzel we ordered was huge and delicious, and the breadsticks and dip were good too. I'll probably try their food again, just not their pizza. They offer a nice variety of food items to choose from besides pizza. Prices are a bit on the higher...

I'd like that location is convenient if you live in Waterford. This is really easy to get to. It's a carryout spot so there's nowhere to eat inside there. I like the theme of the restaurant. It's very 80s when you walk in. From the posters on the wall to the t-shirts on the back wall. It's fun. The pizza box design is also pretty fun. When I walked in I was immediately greeted so the service was good. The pizza is good. It's not the best pizza I've ever had but I wouldn't mind adding it to my rotation every couple of months. We ordered the trilogy which has three kinds of pepperoni on it and we liked it. I ordered ours well done because there was a lot of meat on there. I probably wouldn't do that again because it was almost a little too done for my preference but it was still good. I think it was a good value as it was $19.99 for a large before tax. I do want to try the pickle pizza eventually. Next time I'll also try something on the crust because it was a little dry. The pizza was good enough that I'll be going back to try other things.

I read the reviews and got pretty excited when placing my order. It was my first time ordering here so I kept it simple and got a cheese pizza with a side of ranch. The pizza was average. Nothing about it stood out, it was perfectly cooked, and presented well. The ranch was above average, definitely better than anything you buy from the store. As any ranch lover who lives around here knows, we are blessed by having multiple options for amazing homemade buttermilk ranch. And this ranch, to me at least, was 1 or 2 levels below our other top tier options. I'd definitely eat it again if it was put in front of me, but it will never be something I go out of my way to order.

Nice people, ordering in person was chill and not rushed. Their pizza hits the spot, but neither is it anything to go out if your way for. Dough is crispy and chewy despite not having any gimmicks to how it looks. Cheese and toppings quality are fine. And mix really well together. Only complaint I'd have is the marinara dip sauce is too simple. Makes a great dip, but it is missing any nuances beyond being tomato forward and chunky. But I guess that makes it more refreshing as a dip I guess? There wasn't really anything wrong with it. Place is a little spartan, but I enjoyed my order.
