Canât say much about atmosphere due to my arrival time of 5:30 Sunday morning, except they have remodeled a bit since I last visited. Canât really say much about anything except the new pizza chefâŚ
little backstory here -over the course of the last couple years iâve noticed a serious decline in the Caseys company as a whole. It came to the point of no longer visiting the stores because every time there was a problem-
We all know Road Ranger used to be pretty nice, but now theyâre on a pogo stick to dying, Flying J, meh, then came Loves with their over priced Loves garbage, which leaves the awesomeness of KT with no parking or Caseys to choose from⌠Welcome to the Waterloo area! So today, i decided to give Caseys a try to see if this location could redeem the whole company for its Caseysness⌠pizza is the most popular, and by far the most economical of all the food in the area, so ya gotta do it right, right?
Success!
Dante the newest pizza chef has a serious passion for his work. He told me that when he sees something new that someone orders, he makes one for himself before he goes home to try⌠i feel this!!! I would do the exact same thing! heck, iâve driven trucks all my life, and what do i do on time off? go see places i thought would be interesting no matter how far away they were from home.
For Caseys - good hire here
For Dante - you better post your schedule on the door so people know when to expect greatness⌠and keep making that crust like you do, because when i opened the box it jumped up and screamed âSHUT UP AND EAT ME!!!â
Well...
Read moreGreat place to stop!!!! Very friendly staff at the deli, and fuel counter. Most places customer service is "out the window." This place actually greets you with a smile when you walk through the door, and makes you feel welcome. Christopher, is always greeting the customers with a welcome, and very knowledgable, and helpful. Jason, in the deli, is very good at making a pizza. It doesn't get any better than here. Very knowledgable, as well. My wife, Analisa, and I ordered pizza, and it was the best we had yet. Jason said it would be 15 minutes, and right on time, he brought the pizza out to the table. Now, that is customer service!!!!! Only 2 things I see that needs reprimanding, is kick the dropped trailers out of the lot, as they take all the parking spaces for us big trucks, and run a road grader across the lot, to smooth out the "craters," that if you fall in, you will be introduced to a "one-way-trip" to China. OTHER THAN THAT....... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, AND ATTITUDES, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! 10 ** CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM CHRISTOPHER...
Read moreI love Casey's. Any time I can find one that has truck diesel and or parking I tend to visit. I've never had a bad experience. Until today that is. Everything was great to start out. I came to scale my load and put fuel in my tractor. The clerk that helped me was very respectful and friendly. I went back outside, parked my truck, walked my puppy, then got on the app and ordered some pizza. I did a few things then walked back inside. I purchased a few items, friendly clerk again, then walked over to pick up my pizzas. I stood there. Stood there some more. And then stood there some more. The whole time the guy knows I'm there, but does not so much as acknowledge my presence. This went on for a good 3 or 4 minutes. I had decided that he had about 1 more minute before I walked up front and asked for a refund. Right as I made that decision he finally asked me if I had the 2 pizza order. This was my first time even walking past the front counter at this location. Had he just acknowledged me, I would've...
