MrBBQ-2 — Restaurant in Waterloo

First I would give 10 stars if I could for the quality of food, but did not have a good experience. First I ordered food for our family Christmas for 14, from the catering manager. She advised me I could pick up in Waterloo if I wished and quoted me a price. On the day, I called before I left and Waterloo Mr. BBQ had no idea…so we called Columbia who seemed to be clueless as well about my order, but said they would get it together for me. They did, but when I went to pay it was $150 more than I was quoted. When I protested the owner said the price I was given was impossible because this cost this much and that cost that much…he ended up taking $50 off but I still had to pay $100 over my quote. Actually if I’d known that I would have gone with Shortys, because their quote was less. Moral of the story…get your...

Absolute worst service and experience for a restaurant in Waterloo. We live nearby and wanted to try something new. We walked in and because it is inside a golf club we were not sure exactly where to go and had our kids with us so we were cautious when walking in. Before we could even make it all the way in the dining area I heard someone yell “Shut the door!”. Once inside we were told to sit anywhere we wanted and told her we’d sit on the patio. We waited 15 minutes before we got up and left because no one had come to greet us, take drink orders or provide menus. We will never go here again and will spread the word to our friends and family in town of the absolutely poor service...

Ordered potato skins and they were greasy, cheese covered the whole potato and no bacon, salad is a bag of wilted lettuce, chopped white onion ruined it and dressing needed ingredients. We ordered the chicken strips appetizer and we always get six but today we got four. My hubs waited an hour. They were out of bacon and ribs. I guess no pork delivery. Plus made him pay in cash. They said credit card computer not working. We will go again but we will be present so we don't pay for food not prepared. They should have given my hubs a discount bc of the trouble.

I will say that the waterloo one never made...
