Paradiddle's Cafe — Restaurant in Waterloo

I've driven by this place several times, and I wanted it to be really good. Eight of us stopped in after church on a Sunday and ordered coffees and four breakfast burritos. Admittedly, we were their largest table by far and they had a pretty steady flow of 2's and 3's, too. But, even though they added some additional help while we waited, it was over 30 minutes before we received our orders... and half of us only ordered coffee! On the plus side, the servers were very friendly, the coffee and food were very good, and the facility is clean and interesting, if a little "bohemian." I've been here several times for multiple reasons. There is a large assortment of latte flavors to mix and match. They always have a special flavor of the day. My personal favorite is the lavendar lemonade! There are also freshly baked goods available each day. In addition to the local coffee shop items they have a cafe like menu with paninis, and sanwhiches (both hot and cold) available. The staff is very pleasant. The atmosphere is surrounded by music decor, books for customers to read, and locally made products available...

Great place to study, hangout with friends, and have a little family gathering. There are tons of things to do for little kids such as coloring and reading, there a bookshelf full of books of dufferent reading levels. The menu is full of great items and there is more then juat coffee for non-coffee drinkers. All-around great place and nice environment.
