Great place! We stop any time we’re in the area. For the reviewer that said they weren’t open and gave one star, it’s a small family owned business for 3 generations and everyone needs time off now and then. For the comment about it being small and crowded, those are a few or the many things that give this place its charm. Great food, cold beer and a place to warm up by the iconic barrel stove. Talk about north woods hospitality, we were snowmobiling and the zipper on my jacket broke. Not only did the owner sue try to help me fix it but she also went to her house and grabbed a jacket to let me use for the day. Asked nothing in return. Sue is always very sweet and a pleasure to see when we come up here. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. If google would let me i would give this place more than 5 stars. Fyi, best chili for miles....

Sue and Greg are wonderful hosts! I'm particularly found of their bartender Joe too! They offer our area a Quant place to go and unwind, socialize, food or even just to grab a pizza or pop to go!
