We stopped in tonight for the first time and it will definitely be our last! I ordered the classic cheese burger with fries and my boyfriend ordered the pizza burger and fries. The minute I cut into my burger I knew something was off! The smell of the patty told me that the burger was mixed with something, or it had gone bad!🤮 I didn’t complain at first and just spit it out. The fries were really good so I was ok with just eating them. My boyfriend took a bite of his pizza burger and immediately knew what the problem was.. PORK! It was 100% pork patty! I just was corrected by my boyfriend because I originally said mix of burger and pork but he just told me it was all pork!. Now, for someone who like pork I’m sure this wouldn’t be a big deal. But we don’t eat pork and there was nothing on the menu saying that they put pork in the burger! We were basically told that we should know pork is in a pizza burger and that my burger did not have pork in it when we could see and taste it in there! We were offered a discount or something different to eat but by this point we were so upset that we were served something that we would have never chosen to eat, that we paid the check and left, being sure to let them know that they cannot do this to people and that we would never come back! We spent $30 on some soup and fries!🤬 We left and went to Arby’s to eat because even fast food was better than that! We will continue to let everyone we know, know not to go there! People have a right to know what is in the food! If it’s pork, then label it as pork, not Burger!! Gordon Ramsay # kitchen...
Read moreSo, we sat to the counter. My daughter and I ordered French toast- hard to screw that up, but they did. The bacon we ordered and French toast came out 15+ minutes before my husband's food. But it sat there waiting for his to eventually come out. VERY disappointing! The bacon was COLD & not as done as I would have liked- I asked for crisp bacon, half was but all were COLD. I used syrup to make it edible because not one person stopped to check on us and how the food was. One girl, not the one who took our order, Just stopped to ask if I wanted the bill. NOT IMPRESSED. Then when I told the girl who took the check at the register, she just said, oh, I'll tell them that, didn't ask how it was as she'd done for other orders. Took our full priced meal ticket and that was that, nothing adjusted. I still left a tip as it was Father's Day and my husband's food at least was decent. But come on, 2/3's of the food was COLD & not good. At this point I really DON'T recommend this place. I saw a lot of food sit there waiting for the rest and not being completed at the same time as the rest of the order. But ours sat through SEVERAL orders that went out while ours sat there. One other server asked the cooks if the order was going to come out soon for the food to go out because it had been sitting there for SO long. The older female cook said yes and it sat through three more orders before going out to us. Couldn't even complain about it as NO ONE...
Read moreOrdered the breakfast skillet, had a hair in my food. No big deal it happens. The majority of the food was pretty tasteless other than the freshness of the veggies.
Asked to substitute tomatoes for my mushrooms and got charged for it. Family said their food was decent. Service was good, quick. Didn’t end up getting a discount for the hair in the food because they don’t combine discounts. I’d assume the waitress didn’t want to ask her manager about it. No one informed us of the register, so we didn’t know where/how to pay..
Overall I’d say improve the flavor of the food, make no charge to substitutions of equal value, harp on the gas station to keep the restrooms cleaner or whoever keeps those clean, I get the hair thing happens but sometimes a hat isn’t enough, especially when people have really long hair or facial hair.
This place would’ve gotten 4 stars but it just had a bunch of little things happen that weren’t very good. Nothing to write home about, similar to any other small town breakfast diner… Time to adapt…
