The Original Fishing Chicken — Restaurant in Waverly Hall

I wish I could give a better review, but I am disappointed in my visit. I have not been since their moving into the new location across the street. Because they stay very busy, I decided to order to pick up. I was told my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrived at about 15 minutes after ordering. My order wasn't ready yet, so I paid and waited. WARNING: they do not give change on cash payment. After it had been at least 35 minutes I asked about my order. I was told it would be ready in a minute. When I received my order it was obvious that it had been ready for a bit. Perhaps they were waiting on hush puppies because neither the fries not the livers were hot. Every order I have gotten before was fresh and hot. If I go back and have a better experience, I will modify...

The hush puppies were perfectly cooked and very enjoyable. The pepper jack mac and cheese bites were also perfectly cooked and flavorful without being overly spicy. The steak fingers, as well as the chicken fingers, were nice and tender. Everything was cooked when ordered and hot. The honey mustard is Ken's but the cocktail sauce is Monarch and the ketchup must be some less common brand and wasn't as favorable. Hey the food here is absolutely horrible. So first the wings are pre cooked and sitting over in a huge tub waiting to be served. Secondly i ordered lemon pepper wings and it had absolutely no salt . I will say the fries and the hush puppies were OK. But omg the wings literally made me sick. I've never had wings that bad ever. Now the prices are cheap . Maybe thats why the food was bad. Just fry the wings fresh and add seasoning. Furthermore having food sitting in a tub like that can cause food poisoning....
