Timeout Tavern — Restaurant in Waverly

Writing an all-new review of this place, as my previous one didn't quite match how I feel about this place.

The atmosphere at Tavern is amazing, even though I'm not one with the main demographic of sports fans being together as a community while watching their favorite team play their sports while having a couple of beers and a wonderful meal prepared by the amazing staff.

While on the topic of the staff, I can't think of a single bad experience with any or all of them! They're all so friendly, and nice, they greet you with a grin on their face as you walk in and find a place to sit. If you're a sports fan, looking for a good place to meet up with either your long-time buddies since high school or whoever while enjoying a nice pizza or burgers and fries and watching sports, I definitely recommend giving this place a go. You won't regret...

My mom lives and works in Waverly and knows practically everyone so of course she knew the owner who made our visit here awesome! We went here for my deceased uncle's birthday celebration and this would have been his kind of restaurant!

From the chicken nachos, fries, steak salad, the pizza, and the burgers every single thing everyone had was soooo good! The hamburgers were so big and cooked just right! They have desert as well (cake and pies).

Pretty good size bar and a good selection.

It's a good size space that would probably fit 20 people inside and 20 more outback on their patio area and outdoor bar. The decorations, tall cealings and the atmosphere makes the small space feel big and comfortable!...

I've been there about 50 times, and they knocked it out of the park 95% of the time. Great burgers and sides (pea salad, pub corn, and potato salad). Garlic bread is amazing and the pizzas are good. It's a great place to have some cold beers, and a must attend when they have live music. They keep the menu fresh with daily specials. Be sure to pay with cash to avoid 3% credit card fee. I wish they had a fryer, but the fries are OK without the fryer. Amy...
