Verda Mae's — Restaurant in Waverly

I think they used the wrong cheese on the pony shoe because it was sopping wet... there was one little baby hamburger patty in the middle. I was just glad my 2 sisters enjoyed their meals but that was the worst pony shoe I've ever seen in my life. I told the waitress but that's as far as it went. I don't live in that town so It don't matter....UPDATE UPDATE. Took my sisters there 9/23/22 again. Tried the Ruben sandwich for $9. Basically it was two pieces of bread with some sauerkrat and a package of Buddig pastrami meat thrown on it. I know that was what it was because I eat it a lot because it cost $1.09 a package. Just the lump straight from the package. NEVER...

Excellent service and delicious food! I was very impressed with this place! A very large group (20+ people) of us came in, and you could tell they weren't used to a group of that size. We waited a little long for someone to wait on us, but no more than 10 minutes. But the service we did get, and the meal we had, more than made up for the wait!
