It was in a crowded, dark bar type atmosphere, not well marked, in a rural community of streets, and the business itself is set so far back, and in, it's unseen from the street. The building itself looks like a 2 story, 2 family home. It's called a Chateau, but it's just a visually busy bar that's not unlike a tiny Ground Round. My in-laws enjoyed their burgers, but my chicken wrap was overdone (tho the coating looked in-house made and tasty). My hubby had a sausage and veggies sub the was dry, and he pulled out the second half of the sausage and just ate the veggies. My father-in- law commented that this would be the place to find ruffians. It came highly recommended, and it was tiny and filled quick. 10-12 tables max. People coming up the stairs were just staring at us while we ate, because there is no waiting area, and it is not for handicapped or ADA compliant. Read moreWent here with a friend that goes here regularly. Older, small, extremely casual place. Looks out over a pond and pretty woods. Plenty of parking in dirt lot. Booths & pub tables. Food was fantastic! I had a burger which was excellent and cooked to perfection. Shoestring fries were perfectly cooked too and delicious. Onion rings looked fabulous even though I don't eat them. My friend had the fish tacos which he loved and looked great. And he said the wings are excellent there. Pretty varied and large menu to choose from for such a small place. Service was excellent, waitress constantly checking in to see if we needed drink refills or anything at all. They do have a bar with beer, wine and alcohol drinks also. Nothing fancy by any means, but superb food and service. I will definitely return and I...

She then comes back with a book in her hand and tells us she doesn’t have our reservation in her book and we need to leave. I showed her the reservation from my email and she says replied “we have 50 people taking reservations by phone and email, but we go by this book and you don’t have a reservation here. She made a scene and embarrassed my family and I would assume herself. Other patrons nearby commented to us on the way out about the handling of the situation. And on a side note, it was disgustingly dirty and COVID protocols were not...
