This is best place to eat around it Keokuk the Flying J Canton and Kahoka in fact I was in Memphis this morning they had to restaurants there but we went all the way down to the Reeds you get good home food prices are right and the owners make the customer feels welcome and puts them first I think the menu is good like any restaurants around here there's not much that you can get a combination for one price especially for lunch but they do have good prices on their sandwiches hamburgers and the grilled chicken is not bad at all we think it's the best one around and the only other one that we can think of is a Chinese restaurant in Canton Missouri so these are our two choices here in town and we've been to every restaurant and this is got the best food and they like to make you happy and it's not small portions...

Solid home-style food cooked quickly to order (including hand cut fries and chips) in a classic small town setting. There is a bar, but it's very low key, with 4 beers on tap. The place is very clean and the restrooms are immaculate. Service was quick and very friendly.

We ordered meatloaf, pork loin dinner, the tenderloin sandwich, and the burger horseshoe. All were very good and substantial portions for reasonable prices. The horseshoe won out as the best, though.

Be sure to try the layer desserts-both the oreo and lemon pecan are super endings to...

If you expect to get a napkin with your food, a refill on your drink, or any of the staff to stop and acknowledge your empty glass sitting on the table in plain sight, or anyone to come check on you or your food other than to take your order and drop of your stuff, then this might not be the place for you. Pretty sad when the food is actually ok, but you can't enjoy it because you don't have anything to drink. Maybe the waitress should worry less about drinking on the job and talking to her...
