Yellow rose smokehouse — Restaurant in Wayne City

I’m not usually a critic at all, I can usually make do with the bare minimum. I hate to do this but someone has to say something, I was working in that area 10/2021and wanted bbq, I stopped by this place to grab what I thought was going to be a delight. I was handed a closed plate but I opened it only to find that I had a cold sausage straight from the fridge, I told the man/owner it was cold. He then got the plate opened it and checked the temperature with his bare fingers, he didn’t think I saw him do it, he tried to obscure his dirty finger deed with the lid of the plate. He hands the plate off to his wife to MICROWAVE, only to scorch the sausage. I wasn’t gonna eat it anyway, I threw it straight into the dumpster because he came in from the outside, he didn’t even so much as pass by the sink for hand washing. There were literally so many flies contaminating the place they didn’t even bother to make sure none got on the food. He spoke very condescending to me even though I was a customer. I thought if COVID-19 has taught us anything as nation it has to be hand washing but obviously this owner didn’t get the memo. There are rules to handling cooked food, he missed that memo as well. NOT a good experience for me, too disrespectful and UNSANITARY, if you go there don’t expect any level of customer service or CLEAN cooked food,....

Absolutely Loved it and as a Ole Tennessee Boy I know and love my BBQ. Piled High... The mayonnaise slaw was excellent. I will be a regular there and can't wait to try their Barbequed Ribs, I would bet they are Awesome too... Everything was cooked perfectly, Great friendly service. I highly recommend this...
