Sunny Cupboard — Restaurant in Wayne Township

I've been frequenting Sunny Cupboard for almost 5 years now since we moved into the area and their store has become a staple for our family! It was a blessing to be close to them during the pandemic when many grocery stores were out of everything, I knew I could count on Sunny having most of what I needed. I love getting the local items especially - coffee, eggs, Guers iced tea, honey, maple syrup, pickles... plus all the PA chips & pretzels! I appreciate knowing all those items are sourced from nearby. The baked goods are a delight, especially the donuts! Plus I have family members that are gluten free and dairy free and Sunny is well stocked on those items. Great prices on herbs, spices, nuts and dried fruit, which means paying less for more than larger stores would offer. Awesome fresh roasted turkey sandwiches - can't recommend that enough! And to top it off, I love the featured handmade items like mugs (I have a few I've purchased) baby toys, aprons, soaps, etc. I seriously could go on. A real gem of a market. I've been here a handful of times and each time I am so impressed with the stellar courtesy of the owner and his helpers. They are all very hard-working, yet they always greet you with genuine gratitude that you stopped there. You don't find that at regular stores! Their homemade doughnuts are incredible! Great coffee! Nice produce! I've had wonderful luck with garden plants I purchased here - healthy and thriving, and they were the best prices I've seen anywhere. I've only been here twice. The first time I had gotten a sub & some pasta salad. The sub was great it was made fresh. The pasta salad was really good as well. The second time I had stopped and got 3 subs 1 for myself and 2 for my sister and her husband I also got more pasta salad and a container of crab & shrimp salad for my brother in law.
