Golden Goodies Donuts&Deli — Restaurant in Waynesboro

While simply passing-through town, on a very long cross-county trip, my wife noticed this gem of a deli. We stopped and were greeted by a very kind and helpful owner.

We ordered a box of six donuts; Raspberry filled, Apple Fritters and Fried Cakes (chocolate), as well as a nice sandwich lunch and hot coco drinks.

I have not had donuts that tasted so much like old-fashioned since the 70s. They were fantastic! The sandwiches were excellent. We ate inside and were comfortable.
