Trager Brothers Coffee 2.0 — Restaurant in Waynesboro

So happy to have finally found a place to have a decent coffee and yet, the quality of the coffee here is top notch. Roasted on site and open through 6PM. For those of us who visit the wineries regularly, but have to drive a long way back, this is God-sent. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because there are not really any great food or snacks options other than locally sourced shortbread. Still, the great coffee compensates. I did notice there is not really indoor sitting to be seen. I hope I am wrong. Important: drive around back from the main road to find the access with plenty of outdoor sitting and small parking. The main entrance is located by the soccer field. There is a back door too to access the Community Center from where you will find a door with a sign. Just don’t give up looking. You got to heaven already.

Update October 2024. Always a great option for coffee in the afternoon. Unfortunately, now they close at 5 PM. However, just get there early and get the best...

Their coffee quality far surpasses Greenberry's and Starbucks. They are also at least 2 to 3 dollars cheaper than the above listed coffee establishments. The staff is very polite and will easily carry on a conversation with you, if that's what you want. The service is very fast if you want it that way, but they also welcome you to sit and talk in the lounge or at the coffee bar for a few hours as you enjoy a beverage or two. They also sell their own coffee in bulk (whole bean and ground) and both the bar and lounge next door have WIFI. Love this place dearly and look forward to any chance that I get to visit there. Bottom line? Great coffee. Good prices. Fun people....

I got a a pound of their coffee for a Christmas exchange gift from my sister who lives near the Trager Bros coffeehouse. I looked at the bag a few times thinking I need to try it. I am very particular about coffee. All I buy is ordered whole bean from very reliable sources. At the moment I opened the Trager Bros. Coffee bag. I knew it is a winner. Just the smell of it makes you want to eat it and not wait to brew it. I will admit I put a few grounds on my tongue before brewing. It’s the very best coffee I have ever had. I wish I wasn’t 10 hours away. My wife and I would be there every day.... will...
