Village Pizza — Restaurant in Waynesboro

I haven’t ordered anything in a few months, for the past year there were just problems with how the food was made I don’t believe it was the ingredients I believe the ingredients are good ingredients. It was just the way things were prepared, but today we ordered and I don’t know if these were conscious changes or just a coincidence I don’t know but everything was amazing. The pizza wasn’t soggy and had too much cheese it was perfect, the bacon was perfect, those were the best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had, nothing was soaked in grease I mean soaked in grease like it used to be it was just perfect. My husband even commented on the changes, like I said if it was intentional or not whatever has been done it’s just so much better it’s actually 10 out of 10. I hate leaving bad reviews in my own community, I want my community to thrive and today I seen huge changes it’s amazing. I had to come back on here and change my review, it’s like it used to be it’s perfect. Myself and my family will definitely come back often...

Firstly, don't ever expect your food in the time frame they give you. So if you're in a hurry, skip it. My experience has been-add 20-30 minutes to whatever time they tell you whether it's pickup or delivery. I have had to wait an extra 20 minutes just to pick up food. Then, they do not have enough phone lines so you will just have to keep calling to either check on where your order is or place the order to begin with. Last time, they said the driver had to help out in the kitchen because they were so backed up so he wasn't out delivering pizzas yet. Hmmm...And we have ordered a couple different menu items-specialty pizzas, salads, etc. and sometimes they come with different ingredients than listed on the menu. The food is usually good except the nasty green peppers they put on the salads and in the calzone/pizza. Those are so bitter :( We like to support local businesses but this one could use...

Im from NY and I came here from Fl I was in Fl for seven years and could never get a decent pizza so I just gave up. Im here in Virginia for a little less than a year and I finally decided to break down and try Village Pizza because I heard so many good things about them! WELL OMG THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT THE PIZZA WAS AMAZING SO TASTY HOT AND FRESH THE MOZARELLA STICKS AS WELL AND THE COST WAS INCREDIBLY FAIR!
