Why are you not eating here?
We’ve been visiting the inn for dinner for about a year now and we love it every time. The owners are such wonderful people! The service is warm and flawless, and they have some very talented chefs. Highest compliments to them.
First, the cocktails. We love their cocktail menu and friday night didn’t disappoint one bit. We had the Pear and Sage, the Rakia Sour, and this winter Smoky cocktail that was served with maple infused bacon on top. It was glorious!!
For Dinner, We started out with the seasonal salad, Arancini, and the beef tartare. All amazing appetizers! The salad had the perfect balance of sweetness and savory. The arancini were truffled and oh so creamy, and the beef tartare was so flavorful. I’m not a fan of tartare in general but I liked this one!
I went momentarily unconscious (figuratively) trying the lamb osso buco. It was easily the best lamb I’ve ever had. In fact I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to go back next week to get it again!
The bread pudding is sublime. It’s the first beautiful day in summer, and somehow also the entire Christmas season all wrapped Up into a caramel encased robe of comfort. And by the way they also have great creme brulee and ice cream...

When the bill came, the steak was still included. Evon then explained he had comped one drink “for the steak” and offered to take 50% off the steak if we paid for the drink. At that point, we decided not to push further and just paid the bill.
Our server, Frankie, was absolutely wonderful—attentive, kind, and accommodating. Unfortunately, the management experience left a negative impression, and I would not recommend Evon’s handling of...
Read moreMUST check out place. The restaurant is in a hotel which has hundreds years of long history of Vermont. The appearance of the building is just a small townhouse in this area, but the antique interior of the restaurant creates charming and cozy comfortable atmosphere.
Food was exceptional. All dishes were beyond my expectation. We had pasta, ceviche, steak, risotto, brussel sprout, and desserts. In fact, we went here couple more times and each visit was full of satisfaction.
Service was great. All servers are nice and willing to provide great experience for every customers. We also learned that the restaurant has its own field and continue to collaborate with local farms to provide the best seasonal menu. Yes, menu changes and I would love to try all different dishes if I can.
Only down side is that the restaurant is not easily accessible. However, I can strongly recommend this place if you plan to be...
