This place was great! The only reason I am rating 4 instead of 5 stars is because it was a bit pricey, and my burger was pink in the middle. That might be how they serve them, but I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked, and for a burger, I definitely prefer well-done. But it was delicious nonetheless, and I ate all of it. The fresh cut fries were also delish! My husband had the chicken fried steak, and he absolutely loved everything about his meal. He said the mashed potatoes were the best mashed potatoes he's ever had. For me, the highlight of the show was the delicious banana cookie butter cheesecake. Sooooo good!! For the two of us with tip, the total was over $60, so it was expensive, but it was definitely worth it for a treat. We will absolutely be back to try...

We love this place! Great “chicken fried chicken!!” Absolutely the best Country fried steak…( it would be better if the meat was tenderized.. It’s a little tough) but the light breading is so tasty . Grilled green beans are yummy! The potato salad is the bomb! Wouldn’t suggest the Gizzards on Tue.. My husband just had those tonight, and he could not chew them at all! Extremely tough. I dislike saying this, but it’s true! But love love all their food except a few things.. Appetizer are yummy and homemade. I also believe the prices are fair., since inflation. . I would highly recommend this place! We love Crappie Hole as well…But this has become our favorite. But we do support...

Since this building was remodeled by the new owners, it's 100% cleaner and nicer.

The service was excellent, waitresses were down to earth and very pleasant to deal with.

I had great northern beans, cornbread and fried potatoes.

The beans were nice and hot, lacking in salt which is understandable because some folks are on a salt restricted diet.

The cornbread was basically room temp so butter wouldn't melt in it.

The fried potatoes were tepid.

If All of the food had been Hot, I would have given a 5 star rating.

Due to the Excellent service and good atmosphere, I felt they deserved a 4 overall.
