This coffee shop in downtown Hayfork is the gathering place for people to come, relax, drink, eat and have a great time in a very casual atmosphere. It is like a community center for people in this small rustic Trinity County town in Northern California.

The owners of this coffee shop are often present and are supper great hosts. They are friends to just everyone in town and quickly bring out the charm to all new visitors to this shop.

The shop is open in the mornings and throughout the day with some extended evening hours (typically Wednesday through Saturday).

They offer a great selection of both hot and cold coffees including organic and locally roasted coffee.

They feature a creative, ever changing menu with a focus on a healthy local source of food supplies. This includes grass fed beef and house made organic buns-rolls and much more. At times throughout the year, they are growing organically vegetables in a garden behind the shop.

They have a wide selection of draft, bottled imports and microbrews beers.

The wine selections includes various local, non-local, and organic wines.

Besides all of the above, this coffee shop offers still a lot more.

Northern Delights Coffee lives up to its name! Within the past 4-5 years my visits to Hayfork have always included the time set aside to enjoy a Coffee or the occasional Beer. Upon entering this establishment I've always been greeted with a smile and very polite, friendly and professional yet casual customer service. Something is to be said about how wonderful the upbeat yet relaxing the atmosphere here feels. From Ceiling to floor I've taken notice to the amount of attention that is given to how clean and tidy everything is. With the wide variety of Coffees and many refreshing juices and smoothies to the beautifully displayed baked goodies, Northern Delights Coffee would be thrown Ten very enthusiastic Stars by me, if that were an option. Now that I'm a permanent resident of this little town I'm looking forward to stopping in more often to enjoy the tasty and diverse menu options this Coffee shop & so much more has to offer. Kindest humans in Hayfork (and really great coffee and food).

My story starts when my rental car broke down over memorial weekend and Northern Delights was the only open place in town. Two wonderful women (Lida and Tia) immediately offered to help. They introduced me to locals who could give us rides to the wedding venue (I’m a wedding planner and was in town for work) which was 30 minutes up a mountain.

Not only did they do this multiple times but they also let me stay in the coffee shop 2 hours after it was closed to use their landline to call Hertz. but wait there’s more! Lida personally texted me to make sure I made it home safely.
