Trinity Alps Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Weaverville

Stopped by Weaverville California for a short visit. With no desire to cook yet longing for a great meal, we stopped at Trinity Alps, golf restaurant and lounge. We walked in and We were promptly greeted by one of the waitresses, who kindly l advised us Which plays would be cooler to sit in during that hot summer day. The main floor is spacious and has a great view. We ordered drinks and our meals came soon after that. We ordered street tacos and the spinach salad, Which was embellished with dried cranberries and feta cheese. Although our food was great, and we did faster than we could take pictures, I was able to take pictures of our appetizer, Garlic, feta fries. All in all, we had a great experience, Would Heidi recommend this place if you are looking to have a decent place for a date, or a place to meet with your friends, parents or in laws. Servers seem very concerned to provide an all out great dining experience and help overcome average food quality, maybe one step above average. Today the soup was interesting. The soup tasted good. I met the chef, who I never met before, and asked if the ingredients were fresh (not like most restaurants whom use products losing their shelf life to make soups) ......and the response and taste led me to believe him. Products seemed fresh and tasty, and the chef told me the ingredients were fresh. I could taste all ingredients, I truely enjoyed my soup. This is the only restaurant I enjoy to take others out to a meal. Only one other restaurant in town comes close to food quality, but the clientel at times leaves peacefulness to be desired at this other location. Enjoyed all aspects of dining, especially Skip, the bartender, and foodserver during different times of day. Pleasant ......and...

Good atmosphere and food, very wonderful staff. My only reason for three stars is huge inconsistencies in food portions and food expo. I ordered a blue cheese burger about 8 minutes before the guy next to me ordered the veggie burger at the bar. Our food came out at the same time and his plate had a huge mountain of French fries and mine had the amount a small child would grab with one hand. Also very skimpy on the blue cheese on my burger as well as the garlic sauce. The waitress did notice the small amount of blue cheese and asked if I wanted more but I just didn't care enough to send her back to the kitchen. It was also...
