Yellow Jacket Eatery — Restaurant in Weaverville

Obviously different owners from last year. Being the only 2 customers it took 25 minutes to get ice tea after asking twice if we could just take them to our table and the cook kept saying 1 minute. The appetizer for $18.00 was a 6 inch oval flatbread. Two sandwiches took 50 minutes to get while listening to the cook chattering with others as they came in. My $18.00 mushroom philly was 2 - 2 2/2 inch hard baguette and 2 ounces of aujus. My daughters chicken sandwich came on a burnt bun and burnt fries! I'm angry I gave them a $10 tip before hand. I live locally and will never return and will warn others....

Great Food. Family friendly environment with a great patio and live music. Had the Swiss Bacon burger special with sweet.potato fries. Came with a nice creamy dill dipping sauce with the fries, and the most perfect level of salting to the fries. Hubby and I stopped in for lunch Labor day weekend. We wanted to sit outside as we had our pup with us. Nice shady area with tables. We both had cheeseburgers and fries. The absolute best burger that I have had in a very long time. Flavorful, juicy and cooked just right. Fries nice and crispy. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They are dog friendly too. Offered us a bowl and water for the pup....
