Hacienda San Antonio Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Wedowee

Went in to grab dinner. Greeted and seated immediately. Chips of course served (not good quality), cheese dip hot and very thin. Dinner was good. Then the trouble began. Food came to $33 and when card slip came back we were charged for $55. Honest mistake, right? Server takes card back and then charges the $33 WITHOUT voiding the $55. Lies saying that if he doesnt go back to it saying it will automatically time out. Which I know is a lie. So I ask for a manager. He ask why? I try to explain that I know it needs voided and his gives me the same B.S. I ask for a manager again, he says he doesn't understand why I need one. So the 3rd time I demand to see a manager. Then he says there isn't one there. I said someone has to be in charge. To go get them. He goes gets the owners son, which voids the transaction before coming to the table. And he immediately has a cocky mouth telling us that he had til 9pm to void the transaction. No that's money that DOES NOT belong to you. I tried to explain numerous times that his waiter lied about the time out and it should havr been rectified immediately upon finding out the "mistake". It should have never came to that. He continues to cut me off in mid sentence every time I even try to speak. I demanded the void slip. 3 days later money still has not been returned to my account so a bank dispute has been filed. Upon returning to work the following day, coworkers and I were discussing the experience and we quickly found out its happened to not 1 but 2 other coworkers at the same place within the past month. So unless you have cash on you, DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH...

It was awful! The food was luke warm,at best!My food was disgusting! The Enchilada and Tamale tasted of nothing but Paprika and Cumin. You can tell by the photo. The taco,was swimming in grease and stuck to the plate. The rice was not even warm. The guacamole was,just,yuck. The beans were the same. The food arrived about 7 minutes after we ordered,so,don't tell me it wasn't warmed up.

Ronald's Shrimp was like hard rubber balls! He always orders Shrimp Fajitas and when they arrive from the kitchen,the platter is sizzling. This is the first time ever that fajitas arrived without even a little cloud of steam.Add to that flies,and we were done! On a scale of 1 -10 this was MINUS 100!

The waitress was very nice and polite. It seemed like we were being served left overs from someone's lunch!🤢🤢🤢🤢 Nothing....NOTHING in this meal was fresh! Even the plates were cold!

Then,Ron said the cashier asked him if he wanted his change!

Placed a to go order for street tacos and found out this restaurant considers them as a regular taco and not the authentic Mexican street tacos sold at other restaurants (including the one in Carrollton that’s owned by the same person). I called back and spoke to Valarie who was so rude and dismissive. She didn’t want to fix the order, she kept asking “did you even read the menu?”. Finally, I was able to get the managers information from her and spoke to one who fixed the order. However, Valarie was so rude, we are not coming back to eat here ever again and will not recommend it. Customer service is vital. It’s bad enough she was rude, but it’s even worse to treat another Latina...
