Nana's Lunchbox — Restaurant in Weirton District

This place is very unsuspecting. If you're not looking for it you'll probably drive right right by it. Don't expect the inside or the decore to 'Wow' you, it wont. But don't leave just yet. Let your waitress step over who will be as nice as can be and full of charm. An actual waitress who anticipates what you will need and gets it before you even have to ask. The menue isn't 52 pages long but does it really need to be??? I myself had the omlet and had to laugh when my waitress brought it to the table,,, wondering how she carried the serving platter its served on plus another mean at the same time. I say serving platter because my omlet was so so huge it was served on a dish I would normally place a roast to serve or take to the table for Holiday!!! My husband and I both took home boxes. Price was below what I'm use to paying, extra to waitress. Give it a try they have all types of food my next will be the salad. Hope this review...

Where to start... Fist of all four people two adults and two children they took our drink orders and we thought okay prompt service and then we decided to get our orders in and there was hardly anyone in the building and it was only populated by 8 or 10 other people after we ordered we noticed 15 minutes after more people started coming in and we noticed after a while the people that came after ordered ate and paid their bill and left then another bunch sat at the table and was half way into their meal when they finally gave us our food the food was good the service was not I will not accept excuses for hash browns taking 20 minutes then explain the other people who came in 15 minutes after us get their hash browns and the people there sitting where they sat have their hash browns and is halfway through their meal. I will not visit this establishment again unless I order 1 hour before...

Took my son out for breakfast and I knew I wanted to go somewhere local somewhere where my business would matter. Hence going to Nana's. My son LOVES the name and going inside was like stepping back in time going out with my family when I was younger. No extra hustle bustle, no chaos just down home feel to everything. It was busy but it was a saturday morning. Once seated our waitress Annette came over and asked us what to drink. She didnt dismiss my sons order of chocolate milk and actually engaged with him to make sure. She was wonderful as well as the female that brought the food to us. My son is a hugger and hugged both Annette and the other woman. The food was amazing and portioned amazingly. The taste was like getting a home cooked meal that again made me feel that sense of nostalgia. I will be coming back 5 out of 5 but my son says...
