We came in tonight with pretty high expectations as the reviews looked good and we had heard good things. I just felt the food was overpriced and the staff was friendly, but appeared to be new or filling in. I thought the food tasted like an ok version of your local Sysco food truck but nothing to rave about. The beer was a little flat, a drink order was missed, my burger was missing the jalapeños and the mushrooms were obviously canned. All of which would have been ok, until I got the bill. For a kids meal we paid $11.90 plus $4.50 for a drink. Seems a little pricey for 2 kids that had chicken nuggets, and 1 with mini corn dogs. Mediocre food but at way too high price.

We stopped by for a quick bite and were big fans of the food. We both got burgers (a bacon burger and just a classic burger) but also a cup of chili that was really nice. Crispy and nice friend-- overall I'd be happy to eat here again next time I pass through. Good for a quick bite!

Great little restaurant. Definitely stop in if you are in the area. Had a bacon cheeseburger it was great. Dad had a patty melt it was even better. The young lady working the front was super nice and very good.

Drive past this establishment on the way to and from work and just about every time I go to town. Watched them demolish and remodel every day for several months. Today we took the opportunity to stop in and grab a bite. There were three of us in tow and since it was after 1PM we managed to catch them after the lunch bunch had raided the premises. We were told to sit anywhere and within minutes our waitress showed up asking what we would like to drink and in just as many minutes we had liquid refreshment. Then the menus followed and we ordered three burgers and fries, Bacon Cheese, Swiss Mushroom and a Veggie Burger. Somewhere close to 10 minutes we had three Burger set ups. We had regular fries and some plank fries they were what you exoect fries and plankers to be, we ate them all. The burgers are not hand made but they are not frozen either and the meat patties were very good not fatty tasting nice sear on em and we ate them all. The veggie burger disappeared without complaint though in all honesty I could not tell you the first thing about one but they have one and it was consumed with enthusiasm by the one who ordered it. Will go back, prices were just right, hope they turn a profit. They have beer on tap and in individual bottles, and assortment of wine and great Weiser water ;-) The water glasses compliment the rustic interior, very comfortable place and very friendly people working there today. ...

Adorable small diner, would probably call it farm chic. Lots of reclaimed/recycled items like barn wood walls and corrugated metal, as well as gas pipes for kick bar/foot rest at the counter. I got a special burger that had pastrami, sauteed onions and mushrooms and also upgraded to sweet potato fries. Lettuce, onions, tomato and pickles on the plate to use. Served on a dry bun. I asked for mayonnaise and mustard that they gladly supplied. BEST BURGER EVER! Owned I believe by husband and wife team. Although there were other employees, the owner waited on my mom and I. I told her how fabulous the meat was. She said they never buy frozen, but fresh from a local farm consortium with no hormones, etc. My mom got chicken tenders and they were tender and done just right so she could easily eat it. She also decided on sweet potatoe fries. The place is friendly, great place to eat and visit with whoever you go with. Super friendly atmosphere. You...

The waitress was wonderful and very friendly. The older lady (the owner I believe) was an absolute nightmare to listen to as she barked orders to everyone. Super RUDE to her staff! She constantly was barking and talking never a peaceful moment. Super hard to enjoy the place with her loud voice. Thankfully the waitress Brook was amazing!

Hard to watch a boss be so disrespectful to their own employees. All the workers were definitely working hard for her. You could tell they all were on edge with the boss lady in the kitchen.

I know it’s not easy running a business because I own one myself . Be kind and mindful of the negativity and be patient with your staff. They all do a wonderful job for you. You are lucky...
