Vern's Paradise Cafe LLC — Restaurant in Wellsburg District

We made it to WV! Such a beautiful drive! Pick up some bourbon for @kim_woodbridge paper planes! 😜 about a 7 hour drive from 🇨🇦and we found a local gem of a place with great service and a warm local family patron feeling by searching google reviews. Check out the bill! Drafts were 2.50$! Water was $1.75. It wasn’t until I went up to pay that I heard “a buck a beer”!! Bush light can was $1! 😂 oh well next time. The food was great. Wings in all our option were better than Drovers Inn! Buffalo chicken pizza had great flavour and the sauce with chopped celery were perfect. The burger was gooooood. Meat was from a local butcher and had a great taste. I would ask for med rare next time. I googled restaurants around the area a although the outside doesn’t have crazy curb appeal… the food, staff and overall feeling of eating at an American hometown bar was 10/10! We were at the college for a volleyball tournament, looking for a place to eat after the event. Called and told them we had about 25 people they told us to come on over. The place has a small back room, which we completely filled with 25 people, the woman that waited on us was also the bar tender, SHE WAS GREAT!
