THIS PLACE IS SPECIAL TO ME ! THE FOOD IS OUTRAGEOUS !!!!!!!!!!!! ...I MEAN : WOW !!! I CANT GIVE "EL TAPATIO" ENOUGH STARS !!! THE SERVICE IS SUPER PROFFESIONAL AND A VERY CLEAN PLACE ! IF I WAS GOING TO ADD SOMETHING TO THIS PLACE ITS A LITTLE BIT LOUDER MEXICAN MUSIC ! ( THEY HAD IT BUT A LIL TOO LOW ) I LOVE RANCHERAS , ROMANTIC AND MEXICAN TYPICAL MUSIC WHILE ENJOYING FINE MEXICAN CUISINE ! HEY ! LOVE THIS PLACE ! CANT WAIT TO GO BACK ! We love El Tapatio-carnitas are delicous, ask for hot salsa and warm beans! If you like spicy - try fajitas locas which is steak and chicken with spicy chilies and veggies! They also make a mean burger and fries if you are in the mood for that. Last, desserts are the bomb. We usually get the banana tap which is like a banana split in a bowl. They have huckelberry ice cream which we both love. Service is excellent - staff is wonderful. it's our favorite restaurant. We are from San Diego so we know Mexican food. Highly recommend !! I just want to say the food is amazing all the times we have gone in, the owners and staff are the best but there is a certain waitress whom seemed to have quite the attitude. She kept giving me a side eye and even had some attitude when she gave me my to go order, to that waitress I want to tell you do better your not only making yourself look bad but also the restaurant you work for, show some respect. If you were having such a bad day it would have been common sense to remove yourself from the front and should have let another waitress attend...
