Mcdonalds — Restaurant in Weslaco

This is one of the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. On two separate occasions, for dine-in and carry-out, I've waited almost an hour. I had to get a refund for one of them. The food is not worth the wait. I understand it's a new establishment, but it's been the same for over a month since it opened. I think management plays a part in it. The location is great, but I'm better off going to another McDonald's in a different city for reliable and efficient service. Also, while dining, I noticed the environment inside is very small and closed off, and it makes it difficult to communicate with employees because they can't see you and you can't see them. That makes it really annoying when you need a refill since there are no soda machines in the lobby. Their focus is on getting food out for the drive-thru. I hope they improve soon because the location...

1:30am may 3,2025 pulled up for a late night snack with my girls. Ordered 2 double cheese burgers and a basket of fries total 8.59….handed the man in the drive thru a 100 bill and got back 86 missing 5 exact dollars. I told the man I didn’t want problems..he said he’d get the manager involved 10 min passed nobody came to the window..the same man approached the window looking clueless as of why i was there waiting. I had to remind him it was for the manager and the 5 dollars missing. He said manager was reviewing the cameras. He then proceeded to start calculating in his OWN calculator and got the same results as me. All he kept saying was “I’m sorry” “sorry” and the manager was nowhere to be found.

Ps man was chunky with glasses on. Manager came to take a look at my 100 bill he was white...

20 minutes before closing time. We get home. 20 piece nuggets are wet, inside and outside of the box is wet. Bag is wet, it stinks really bad. Looks like goo, like mucus. If I had to guess since it was closing hour, it was fat from the grill. Maybe they were cleaning and set the box somewhere where there was some fat with a cleaning solution. Took it back, manager said he didn't smell anything. It's not like he put it up to his nose and smelled it. He didn't do that. It felt like he didn't believe me. My entire car stinks. My daughter decided to get her meal replaced. I still feel sick because of the smell. I dislike this...
