Nisha's cakery business is so top notch! She starts her consults with the in home tasting. We were able to try roughly 12 different flavors/combos and settled on three different versions. She offered both basic and premium flavors at the tasting, that ALL tasted wonderful - you can't go wrong with choosing a combination of flavors. She then sketches out your vision and helps you come up with ideas as she has a lot of materials and templates for you to choose from, and a really good eye for design and balancing multiple cake tiers with each other. Within a week or two, she had the sketch from the consult worked into her visual software tool and provided us three different versions of the cake. From here, we had to make some final decisions, and she was more than patent as we asked to change several things to the cake and was more than polite when working with our budget. We settled on a 5 tier cake, with one of those tiers being real, and the remainder kitchen cakes. On our wedding day, she delivered the cake and everything was ready to go for us, with no issues at all. She also provided instructions to the venue on how to cut the cake, etc. We also rented a cake base from Nisha, which helped complete our look and fit right into our wedding theme. Between Nisha's delightful cake flavors, design tools and natural artistry, patience and kindness, along with delivering the cake to our venue site, Nisha is hands down a MUST vendor for your wedding cake. She also provides invoices and receipts for all of the transactions, so it is easy to understand the cake cost breakout and balances due. The owner of Sweet Delights Cakery, Nisha, was an absolute joy to work with. We were looking for a wedding cake baker that had a unique flair and who would be more creative than just a traditional wedding cake and we definitely found that with Nisha. Nisha not only has been in many magazines but also won many awards and one google search sold me. She was able to take all of our design ideas and marry all of them together to make a fantastic cake that caught everyone's eye and was absolutely delicious - I really don't think we had any leftover as people told us they took more than one piece! On top of her creative flair, she also has some amazing cake flavors that made it difficult to actually choose. We ended up going with chocolate cake and passionfruit buttercream - it was so good I remember stealing a second piece as me and my husband were leaving for the night. She also has pumpkin spice and lemon berry cakes and blood orange, black cherry and apricot buttercreams along with many others. Nisha was very professional and easy to get along with throughout the whole wedding process. The cake was delivered on time and right to our specifications. We even were able to rent the cake stand for the night which was perfect. Pricing was right where we expected it to be - obviously a cake with lots of extras will have price increases here and there but nothing outrageous and absolutely worth every penny. You too will be waiting for your one-year anniversary to hit just so Nisha can make you an anniversary cake and you can have another piece. Nisha made our wedding cake for our fall rustic wedding. 5 Stars all around. I could not have asked for a more talented, patient, and dedicated vendor than Nisha at Sweet Delights Cakery. From the beginning, everything had a very personal touch. Our cake was not one found in a magazine or from a template, but was a masterpiece that was created just for us. It all started with choosing the flavors, from which there is a wide variety to choose. Just as I finished raving about how great the carrot cake was at our tasting, I was just as impressed with the cream cheese and vanilla bourbon icing we tasted. I had already visited one other vendor in Michigan, and this cake was much better, by far, and in the same price range. There was no question after our tasting that we would have our cake made by Nisha. But, it didn’t end there. Nisha worked with many designs I had sent her and compiled all of these into one beautiful dream cake. She was very patient if I would change my mind or want to see a different variation of her sketch. It was so much fun to see our visions come to life in her sketches. She coordinated the colors perfectly by having me send her swatches from flowers and decorations we would have at the wedding.
