Good Wil's Restaurant & Bakery — Restaurant in West Chillisquaque Township

Today was off. Our waitress wasn't her usual self. She didn't take out drink order correctly. When we placed our drink order I asked for unsweetened tea with extra lemon she came back with no lemon and when I reminded her she seemed bothered by the task. I ordered a ham slice, baked potato, and side salad. She brought out the baked potato and ham pot pie! I explained to her it was incorrect there was no I'm sorry I'll get that fixed for you. She just took it, walked away but made an apology to the Cook and said she needed a ham steak in place of the ham pot pie. She is very LOUD so we could hear their interaction. In the meantime another table ordered water with lemon and she brought no lemon to them either they had to ask again. Another table ordered chicken pot pie and she brought them ham pot pie. Till I got my food and could start eating my guest was halfway through his meal and had to wait on me to finish. I checked my bill and saw there was no discount for the inconvenience so I asked the cashier if I would be getting a discount after I explained to her what happened and her reply was "she took your drink off the bill didn't she?" I had no idea if she did, nothing was said to me nothing!!!!! I should have asked for the owner he's a pretty reasonable man and usually fixes things that are messed up but I'm pretty sure the cashier who explained to me the drink was taken off my bill was his wife. I've had several mishaps with my food lately but I continue to go back because usually the service is good and they do fix the problem with a percentage off your bill. I have always enjoyed breakfast at this place but dinner is more than less than satisfying. Tonight was the worst!!! Not only did we wait 40 mins for our food it came out luke warm at best. When I expressed my concern to our server she became defensive and said I counted it was 33 mins. She proceeded to say well we are shoet help and the help we have isnt that great!!! Are you serious!!! Who cares!!! I said to her my food was cold and I told her I do not want it. Next the owner comes out and while he offered to make another and gave the excuse that they are short staffed and that is why it tool ad long, I said it isn't the time I can except that if my crab cakes didn't come out cold and smashed. I said I do not want another and can't wait as I am diabetic I can't really wait that long. I offered to pay for my drink and he said no the bill is on us. While I appreciate what he did do, there as no apology just excuses. Idk if I would be back for dinner. Like I said the attitude of the server is what really pissed me off cause I may have waited if she didn't cop and attitude!. But needless to say I was angry at this point. So after staying away from this place for 7 months on purpose for poor service and bad food I decided to try them out again on Monday April 24th 2023. Food was good, waitress good. The owner "Todd", however was a whole different story. After learning that the food was served cold and unacceptable at another table he screams across the whole dining room to the kitchen where a dishwasher is loudly dropping the F-bomb and a bunch of other choice words about the situation that was created. Everyone there heard this back and forth between them. Instead of calmly walking back to a private area, he continues to scream at him in front of all the staff now located in the kitchen making them all very uncomfortable and are now complaining amongst themselves in front of the remaining customers of which 6 walked out because of it. The most unpleasant and uncomfortable experience I've had in a long time. Will not ever return to this place again!
